Darlene Norris - Andrew Norris

Darlene Norris is a cat-lover who has been owned by many kitties over the years. She was employed as an assistant manager at an animal shelter, and has also worked as a veterinary assistant, so she's had lots of experience with taking care of pets.

Darlene lived in South Dakota for seven years. During that time, she had many animals on her small acreage, including sheep, dairy goats, chickens, pigs, horses, and a couple of beef steers, along with cats and dogs. Her experience with animal health often came in handy when caring for her many animals.

Darlene has also been interested in herbal remedies and natural healing for many years. She loves to share her knowledge on that topic.

Darlene now lives in Marquette, MI, in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. Her interests include writing, knitting, weaving, and jewelry making. She's married, has one daughter and a son-in-law, and three grandsons. The only critter she has now is her cat, Molly.

Darlene writes for EzineArticles, eHow, InfoBarrel, Triond, and HubPages, in addition to Suite 101. You can follow her on Twitter, and visit her Facebook page.
